.NET: Microsoft has done their own visual modeling, IBM will not compete. Software architect does not support .NET, 3rd party can reverse .NET. Pretty loose coupling. Software architect, fairly close to Together (code visualization), harvesting (reverse), (forward) transformation: java, c++. ORM - Lightweight: visualization of databases - EJBs are supported (EE 5 will be supported). Serious data modeling (database architect, separate product). Difference with Together (very similar). Big difference is what tools it integrates with (testing, requirements). Rational Rose Technical Developer is the place to go for embedded systems. Moving into RSA (probably 2 years).
